Zero Hunger Mission

Nithya Annadana

Daily distribution of nutritious, sanctified food to the destitute, sadhus, and those in critical need.

About the Project

In Vedic tradition, Annadana (the giving of food) is considered the highest form of charity. No individual in the holy city of Kashi should have to sleep hungry. The Sansthan runs a daily community kitchen providing fresh, highly nutritious vegetarian meals.

Our beneficiaries include wandering sadhus, orphaned children, destitute widows, and daily wage laborers. The food is prepared with absolute hygiene and spiritual devotion, serving not just the body, but the soul.
